Role Description

This is a remote position.

We’re representing a fast-growing AI accelerator startup looking for an exceptional Sales Lead to take ownership of its commercial function and help build the next phase of growth. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for someone who can zoom out and think strategically, but is equally happy picking up the phone and closing a deal.

You’ll have genuine ownership across:

• Sales strategy, revenue and targets
• Leading and coaching a small, ambitious sales team
• Building the sales playbook, processes and performance culture
• Pipeline, conversion and CRM optimisation
• Developing new B2B revenue opportunities
• Using AI to make the sales function smarter and more effective

But here’s the important bit: you will still sell. You’ll be expected to get on the phone, speak to prospects, handle objections, close deals and lead from the front. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to step away from the frontline and manage through dashboards. It’s for someone who wants both: the strategic ownership of a Sales Lead role and the energy of actually being in the action.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in high-ticket / consultative sales
• Experience leading or building a sales team
• Commercially sharp and obsessed with what moves conversion and revenue
• Love coaching people, but also love selling yourself
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup where there isn’t a playbook for everything
• Know how to use data, CRM and process to improve performance
• Excited by AI and the opportunity to rethink how sales teams work
• Confident speaking with everyone from individual buyers to senior decision-makers
• Take ownership and don’t need much hand-holding
