Role Description

SAFR is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the growth of the SAFR™ product line across biometric access control and surveillance solutions. This is a customer-facing technical role supporting SAFR’s growth across Europe.

• Work closely with the European sales team, distributors, and system integrators.
• Demonstrate the value of SAFR solutions and deliver compelling technical presentations.
• Lead proof-of-concept deployments to help customers validate the technology in their environments.
• Support partner enablement and accelerate SAFR SCAN’s penetration across key European markets.
• Approximately 80% pre-sales support and 20% post-sales technical engagement.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation and an interest in developing their Sales Engineering career, who enjoys working directly with customers, presenting technology solutions, and helping drive opportunities from evaluation to successful close.

Qualifications

• 4+ years demonstrated experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or related customer-facing technical roles, preferably within physical security, access control, or video surveillance.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Full English proficiency.
• Interest or experience in physical security, access control, video surveillance, or AI/computer vision solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Comfortable supporting technical evaluations and proof-of-concept deployments with customers.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Video Management Systems (VMS) such as Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) such as Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, or others including reader/controller integrations, OSDP/Wiegand protocols, and card formats.
• Proficiency in French or German.

Benefits

• Salary range for this position: 70-85k EUR + 15% variable.
