Role Description
HID Global's Identification Technologies Business Area seeks an experienced, hands-on Sales Director to lead growth for HID Textile Services. This is a player-coach role with direct responsibility for building and leading the sales team while carrying a personal quota. The Sales Director will:

Set sales priorities, strengthen pipeline quality and conversion, coach regional sellers, and maintain accountability for forecast and revenue delivery.

Personally originate and lead strategic hospitality-group opportunities and selected high-value hotel deals across HID InvoTech Uniform Management, HID Acuity and Invotion Linen Management, and related RFID textile solutions.

Operate at both executive and property level, translating operational challenges into compelling business cases and converting emerging-category interest into profitable revenue.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant commercial leadership experience.

Minimum 8 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience, including demonstrated leadership of solution-sales teams.

Proven record of personally closing strategic, multi-location, or enterprise opportunities and developing relationships with senior customer decision-makers.

Experience selling into hospitality, hotel technology, commercial laundry, linen or uniform services, textile services, or a closely related industry.

Prior experience in commercial laundry or commercial laundry, linen or uniform services, textile services industry.

Proven success managing long-cycle, multi-stakeholder sales involving software, hardware, recurring services, operational change, or capital approval; RFID experience is an advantage but is not required.

Demonstrated success as a player-coach who can lead a sales team while personally developing and closing material business.

Strong understanding of hospitality operations and the ability to build credibility with hotel-group executives, owners, management companies, property leaders, procurement, finance, laundries, and linen suppliers.

Executive-level solution-selling skills, including discovery, value quantification, business-case development, negotiation, and complex deal leadership.

Ability to assess pipeline quality, distinguish genuine customer commitment from general interest, and focus the organization on opportunities with a credible path to revenue.

Strong coaching and performance-management capability, with clear expectations, constructive challenge, and consistent follow-through.

Commercial judgment and analytical discipline across forecasting, pricing, account prioritization, resource allocation, and sales productivity.

Proficiency with CRM and prospecting tools, including Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Requirements

Develop and lead the HID Textile Services sales organization, setting commercial priorities, role mandates, territory coverage, account ownership, quotas, and performance expectations.

Carry a personal sales quota and directly originate, lead, and close strategic hospitality-group opportunities and selected high-value individual hotel deals.

Build senior relationships with hotel owners, operators, management companies, procurement organizations, laundries, linen suppliers, and other strategic industry stakeholders.

Coach sellers through discovery, qualification, value quantification, economic-buyer access, proposal strategy, negotiation, and close activities; intervene directly when leadership materially improves the probability of winning.

Establish and enforce a disciplined sales operating rhythm covering pipeline creation, stage criteria, deal reviews, forecast accuracy, conversion, win/loss learning, and corrective actions.

Develop repeatable go-to-market plays for HID InvoTech Uniform Management, HID Acuity and Invotion Linen Management, RFID textile tags, and partner-led opportunities.

Recruit, onboard, develop, and manage sales talent; address performance gaps promptly and build active hunter capability across the team.

Coordinate strategic accounts and cross-regional pursuits to ensure customers receive clear ownership and HID resources are deployed effectively.

Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Operations, Customer Success, Finance, and leadership to strengthen offers, pricing, ROI tools, implementation readiness, and market activation.

Represent HID with senior customers and at relevant industry events, monitoring market and competitive developments, and translating customer insights into business priorities.
