As a National Account Director, you'll own the strategy and sales process for high-value national and multi-location opportunities — from the first conversation through negotiation, close, implementation, and expansion.

Drive Education Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow FloWater's presence across K-12 schools, school districts, higher education, and other educational organizations.

Build the Pipeline: Identify, prospect, and close high-value opportunities across individual schools, districts, multi-school systems, and multi-campus organizations.

Own Strategic Relationships: Build trusted relationships with superintendents, administrators, facilities leaders, procurement teams, sustainability leaders, and other key decision-makers.

Navigate Education Procurement: Understand and successfully navigate education purchasing processes, budgets, procurement requirements, district decision-making structures, and cooperative purchasing opportunities.

Expand Strategic Accounts: Identify opportunities to grow existing relationships across additional schools, campuses, departments, and districts.

Own Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain a healthy pipeline, manage opportunities through the sales process, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting to sales leadership.

Build Strategic Partnerships: Identify and develop relationships with organizations, associations, and partners that can accelerate FloWater's growth within the education market.

Tell the FloWater Story: Clearly communicate FloWater's value proposition and build compelling business cases around sustainability, wellness, cost, and the student and staff experience.

Be the Education Expert: Bring insight into education-market trends, purchasing behaviors, challenges, and opportunities to help shape FloWater's broader go-to-market strategy.

Partner Across the Business: Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Finance, and Sales leadership to ensure a strong customer experience from first conversation through implementation and expansion.

Represent FloWater in the Market: Attend customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and other education-related events to build relationships, generate opportunities, and increase FloWater's visibility.

Be a Great Teammate: Share market insights, collaborate openly, and bring a high level of ownership, energy, and urgency to everything you do.
Qualifications

7+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably with experience selling into K-12, higher education, or public-sector organizations.

Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team, providing clear direction, coaching, and support to achieve business goals.

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and developing new business.

Strong understanding of education purchasing, procurement, budgeting, and decision-making processes.

Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and build relationships with senior decision makers.

Strong strategic account planning, business development, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Highly organized and disciplined with strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM skills.

Ability to develop strategic partnerships and identify opportunities for district-wide and multi-location growth.

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and confident with strong executive presence.

Passionate about FloWater’s product, customers, mission, and opportunity to improve hydration and sustainability in schools.

Willingness to travel nationally to support customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and other Education-focused events and activities; must be within 60 miles of a major airport.
