[Hiring] Sales Director @First Bite, Inc.

Role Description

First Bite is hiring a Sales Director to carry a full-cycle book of business - prospecting, demos, proposals, and close - selling to VP and Director-level sales and marketing leaders at food and beverage manufacturers. Pipeline comes from outbound, trade shows, and inbound referrals. The role works closely with the founders and sales lead.

Responsibilities

• Full sales cycle: Prospect, run, and close new business with VP and Director-level buyers at food and beverage manufacturers.
• Revenue targets: Meet and exceed quota.
• Customer presence: Represent First Bite at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
• Product input: Bring customer learnings into the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated sales excellence: 5+ years in B2B sales with consistent quota attainment, including deals in the $50-$250K ACV range.
• Foodservice relationships: Established relationships with VP- and Director-level buyers at food and beverage manufacturers; a known presence at the industry's trade shows.
• Foodservice fluency: Working knowledge of manufacturers, distributors, and operators, and how each of them buys.
• Technical sales experience: A track record selling software or data products consultatively; First Bite's buyers are sales and marketing leaders, and their questions center on CRM, data, and workflows.
• Startup experience: Comfort with the autonomy and ambiguity of an early-stage company.
• Bonus: Hands-on use of AI tools - automations, prototypes, or research.

Requirements

• Expected on-target earnings for this role are $180-240k OTE with final compensation based on experience and qualifications.
• First Bite's total package includes base salary, sales incentive, and equity.
