Role Description
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Sales Director to join the PurchasePlus sales team. In this role, you will own the full sales cycleβfrom qualifying inbound leads and running product demonstrations through to negotiating and closing new business. You will focus on mid-market and enterprise hospitality operators across North America, articulating the value of our procurement and payments platform and converting pipeline into revenue. Your daily focus will be on driving revenue through sourcing, negotiating, and closing high-stakes deals, while managing key strategic accounts.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into the hospitality, food service, or procurement space.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a full-cycle closing role.

Exceptional consultative selling, active listening, and negotiation skills.

Strong ability to navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and demo confidently.

Proficiency in HubSpot or a comparable CRM.

Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment.

Experience with procure-to-pay, ERP, or back-of-house technology is advantageous.
Requirements

Own the full sales cycle from discovery through to signed contract, targeting mid-market and enterprise hospitality accounts.

Develop and execute strategic business plans to identify, pursue, and close high-value accounts.

Qualify and progress inbound leads and self-sourced opportunities.

Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue in HubSpot, maintaining up-to-date deal stages and notes.

Conduct tailored discovery sessions to understand each prospect's procurement challenges, workflows, and goals.

Deliver compelling product demonstrations that map PurchasePlus capabilities directly to client pain points.

Establish, nurture, and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, key decision-makers, and multi-departmental stakeholders across the hospitality industry.

Prepare and present proposals, commercial terms, and pricing aligned with company guidelines.

Negotiate contracts with confidence, balancing client needs against company margin targets, while showing ROI capabilities.

Partner with Implementation and Customer Success on handoff to ensure a smooth transition post-close.

Develop a deep understanding of the hospitality procurement landscape, including competitor offerings and industry trends.

Share market insights with product and marketing teams to inform positioning and roadmap priorities.

Work closely with BDRs to provide feedback on lead quality and refine outreach targeting.

Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and contribute to a team-wide culture of accountability and learning.

Maintain accurate CRM records and produce regular activity and forecast reports for the SVP, Revenue.
