[Hiring] Sales Development Representative @Nextail

Role Description

You'll be the first person a future Nextail customer talks to. Your job is to open doors at the retailers we want to work with, and to set our Account Executives up with first meetings that turn into real opportunities.

We want someone who uses AI as their main way of working: Claude, cutting-edge outreach technology and good data to find the right accounts and understand them fast. But we don't hide behind automation. The phone is still where meetings get booked: In our own data, 82% of buyers accept meetings that come from proactive phone outreach.

AI does the research so you can make smarter calls. Be ready to pick up the phone every day.

What you'll do:

• Lead with the phone.
• Cold calling is your main channel, backed by email, LinkedIn and events. You'll also qualify inbound and event leads.
• Use Claude and AI workflows every day for account research, buying signals, call prep and personalised outreach, then build prompts and workflows the whole team can reuse.
• Run consultative first conversations: listen actively, understand the prospect's real challenges, and only then position Nextail.
• Map buying committees and reach several people in each target account, not just one.
• Hand AEs qualified meetings with context: who's in the room, what's changed, and why now.
• Adapt your messaging to each market, culture and persona.
• Help shape our SDR playbook, test new channels and share what works.

How we measure success:

• Held qualified meetings, meeting-to-opportunity conversion, and pipeline created. Quality over activity.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in an SDR, BDR or similar outbound role, ideally in B2B SaaS. If you have less but can show us how you prospect with AI, we still want to hear from you.
• You're confident on the phone. Cold calling energises you rather than scaring you.
• A clear grasp of consultative selling and active listening: you ask good questions and you listen for the real problem.
• You already use AI tools seriously in your daily work and can show us how.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Comfort with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and modern prospecting and data tools.
• Curiosity about how businesses work. Retail or fashion interest is a big plus.
• Based in Spain.
• Nice to have: another European language.
