[Hiring] Sales Development Representative @Convoso

Role Description

The SDR, Outbound owns self-sourced pipeline generation into a targeted list of named accounts. This is an outbound-first role. The incumbent builds their own account and contact lists, multithreads into multiple stakeholders per account, and converts cold conversations into qualified meetings for the Account Executive team. Inbound lead coverage may be assigned during the current transition period, but outbound production is the primary measure of the role.

• Build, own and maintain a targeted list of named accounts.
• Research accounts and contacts independently rather than working an assigned queue.
• Generate self-sourced pipeline through high-volume, high-quality outbound calling, email and LinkedIn outreach.
• Multithread into target accounts, developing and maintaining multiple stakeholder relationships per account over time.
• Design, run and refine outbound campaigns, cadences and sequences. Test messaging and adjust based on results.
• Qualify prospects against Convoso's current ICP and qualification criteria, and pre-wire and hand off qualified meetings to the Account Executive team.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, disposition reasons and account ownership.
• Provide inbound lead coverage as assigned during the current transition period. Inbound coverage is secondary to outbound production.
• Stay informed of all new product information.
• Be accountable for your outbound targets.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an outbound-focused SDR or BDR role in B2B SaaS, with a demonstrable record of self-sourced pipeline. Inbound lead-response experience alone will not substitute.
• Proven success cold calling at volume, including the ability to open and hold a conversation with a prospect who is not expecting the call.
• Experience with account-based, multithreaded prospecting into mid-market or enterprise accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to build target lists and conduct account research independently, without a pre-assigned lead queue.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Professional presence on video and by phone, including the ability to take video calls from a quiet, distraction-free environment.
• Outstanding organization and follow-up skills, as well as strong prospecting skills.
• Strong understanding of outbound pipeline generation processes and the metrics that govern them.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach or a comparable sales engagement platform, and Gong or a comparable conversation intelligence platform.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
