Role Description

We are looking for a Sales Associate Representative with experience in the promotional products, custom printing, or branded merchandise industry to support customers throughout the sales process. This role is ideal for a customer-focused sales professional who understands the promotional products market and can effectively translate customer needs into the right products and solutions.

You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and sales stakeholders to manage opportunities, provide product recommendations, prepare quotes, follow up on orders, and ensure a smooth customer experience from initial inquiry through fulfillment.

The ideal candidate combines strong sales and communication skills with excellent organization, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of the promotional products and printing industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to inbound customer and sales inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate promotional products, branded merchandise, and printing solutions.
• Support the sales process from initial inquiry through quoting, order processing, and fulfillment.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, sales documentation, and other customer-facing materials.
• Follow up consistently on leads, opportunities, quotes, and pending orders.
• Collaborate with internal sales, customer service, production, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and order information within CRM and ERP systems.
• Monitor sales activity and compile reports to support sales performance and forecasting.
• Resolve customer questions and issues while maintaining a high level of service.
• Negotiate pricing, timelines, and solutions when appropriate to meet customer requirements and business objectives.
• Manage multiple customer requests and projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Stay informed about promotional products, printing capabilities, product availability, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, account management, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Prior experience in the promotional products, branded merchandise, custom printing, or related industry is required.
• Proven ability to deliver customer-focused solutions and build strong customer relationships.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with CRM and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple customers, opportunities, and projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to compile, analyze, and interpret sales reports and performance data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Minimum of 2 years of completed college coursework; a degree is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven sales environment.
