Role Description
Build a territory, win new business, and take ownership of a market with serious growth potential. A well-established manufacturer serving the pre-engineered metal building industry is seeking an experienced Sales professional to develop and grow its Oklahoma and North Texas territory. This remote, field-based role will focus on generating new business, developing relationships with key construction partners, identifying projects early, and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated B2B sales professional with a strong construction network, proven experience generating business from the ground up, and the ability to independently manage a territory while consistently building a healthy pipeline.
Qualifications
-
3-5 years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably within commercial or industrial construction
-
Experience selling construction materials, roofing, construction manufacturing, or related products and services

-
Existing relationships with general contractors, developers, erectors, owners, architects, engineers, or other construction industry decision-makers
-
Experience using a CRM to manage prospects, opportunities, follow-up activity, and pipeline
-
Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and negotiation skills
-
Self-motivated, highly accountable, and comfortable managing a territory with minimal day-to-day direction
-
Ability and willingness to travel throughout Oklahoma and North Texas to meet customers and visit project sites
-
Must be based in or near the assigned Oklahoma/North Texas territory

Build and grow the Oklahoma and North Texas territory, with a strong focus on the Oklahoma City and Dallas-Fort Worth corridor

-
Follow up consistently on quotes and proposals, maintaining momentum and converting opportunities into new business
-
Partner closely with estimating, engineering, and project management teams to deliver accurate proposals and strong customer experiences
