Role Description

Established manufacturer of can liners, industrial bags, and flexible packaging products is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to manage and grow a Western U.S. sales territory. This position offers an established customer base, an excellent base salary, monthly commission program, company-paid healthcare, and the opportunity to represent a manufacturer known for its commitment to distributors, customer service, and product quality.

The company sells primarily through distribution supporting janitorial, foodservice, healthcare, grocery, industrial, institutional, municipal, and commercial applications.

• Manage and grow an established territory by strengthening existing distributor relationships while developing new business opportunities.
• Sell can liners, industrial bags, healthcare bags, drum liners, contractor bags, food storage bags, and related flexible packaging products.
• Partner with distributor sales representatives through joint sales calls, customer presentations, product demonstrations, and training programs.
• Support distributors by recommending product solutions based on end-user applications and performance requirements.
• Develop new distributor partnerships and identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
• Prepare pricing proposals, quotations, contracts, and sales presentations.
• Work closely with customer service and manufacturing to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Maintain territory forecasts, sales activity, and account information.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support distributors and end users.

Qualifications

• Experience selling can liners, plastic bags, flexible packaging, industrial packaging, or related plastic products.
• Demonstrated success developing new business while managing existing customer relationships.
• Experience conducting distributor training, joint sales calls, and product presentations.
• Experience selling through distribution within the janitorial and sanitation industry is strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel throughout the Western United States.
