Role Description
The Regional Sales Manager North and East Spain is responsible for:

Achieving annual sales targets and implementing strategies and goals through effective management of the Spain North and East region sales team.

Building and growing strong customer relations.

Developing area sales plans in conjunction with the Commercial Director and sales teams to support and grow Leica Biosystemsβ market share in the assigned territory.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead, coach, mentor, and support a team of Account Managers and Application Consultants.

Foster a culture of opportunity management through SalesForce.com following LBSβ standard work.

Continuously improve opportunity management agility by coaching the team to advance opportunity stages, focusing on accuracy of expected close dates, and winning probability.

Generate funnel and maintain a high win rate to support the achievement of sales goals, aiming for a funnel visibility of 12 to 18 months.

Use SFDC and Funnel data to generate a reliable forecast for 30-60-90 days and provide directional information for manufacturing readiness for a 180 days forecast.

Stay updated on opportunity executions enabling weekly reviews of short-term forecasts.
Qualifications
-
MBA, Commercial Degree, or BSc in Life Sciences with relevant experience in Diagnostics, Life Science, or Pathology markets.

5+ years of People Leadership experience and sales, marketing, or business development experience in a complex, matrix environment.

1 β 2 years P&L experience in an international company environment.

Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change, converting strategic initiatives into tactical activities.

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a commercial organization and a market segment/territory.
