Role Description

Coleto Brands, parent Company of Progress Lighting and Kichler, is seeking to fill a remote Regional Sales Manager position residing in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zones.

The Regional Sales Manager will oversee Coleto Brand product lines in independent agencies located across the West Region. This role is responsible for developing and implementing sales, marketing, financial and corporate initiatives with customers and our representative agency partners in the region. This position will require extensive travel to lighting showrooms, industry events, and multiple customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all Independent agencies in the West Region for the following product lines: Progress and Kichler brands servicing the Lighting Showroom and Electrical Distributors segments, Ferguson, as well as National and Regional builders.
• Develop field sales action plans to facilitate the implementation with our agency partners.
• Recommend service and product enhancement to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction.
• Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them.
• Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume and forecasting and developing sales quotas for territories and the region.
• Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix.
• Document customer interactions and maintain data related to activities, accounts and partners in Salesforce.

This is a remote position. Candidates must reside within the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S. While qualified candidates throughout the U.S. are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates residing in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zones to support collaboration with internal teams and business partners.

Qualifications

• Prior lighting experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
• Salesforce Experience a plus.
• 7 to 10+ years’ Sales experience.
• Extensive travel required.
• Self-starter, outgoing personality.
• Exercise good judgment, listening skills, and conflict management skills.
