Role Description

As the Regional Sales Manager for AQA's Central Region, you will lead a team of Account Managers to deliver excellent customer outcomes and regional sales performance. This role involves:

• Leading and developing a high-performing regional sales team.
• Building strong customer relationships and using data to identify opportunities for growth.
• Shaping a newly formed regional structure and influencing its culture and performance.
• Contributing to regional and commercial strategy as a member of the Commercial Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales or customer-facing teams.
• Consultative approach to customer engagement and relationship management.
• Experience using insight, data, and performance measures to drive results.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance customer needs with commercial objectives.

Requirements

• Experience supporting schools, colleges, multi-academy trusts, or wider education stakeholders.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed or field-based teams.
• Experience managing performance and developing team capability through coaching.
• Experience operating within a customer-focused commercial environment.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel extensively throughout the region.
