[Hiring] Regional Account Manager - Data Center @Siemens

This position is responsible for the development, profitable growth, collaboration, and life cycle management of the assigned customer within the Data Center market. In the role, the Regional Account Manager - Data Center represents Siemens in all sales/strategic activities and acts as an interface between the customer and the Siemens organization (including areas such as business development, engineering, and service).

• Establishing a growth-oriented relationship with clients that fosters collaboration.
• Developing a complete understanding of account needs and managing the business planning process including the documentation and update of an effective, global account strategic and implementation plan to improve Siemens’ client results.
• Exploring areas to grow share of wallet with client, crossing multiple businesses of Siemens both locally and globally.
• Working with the customer and business to identify and realize common measurements of success (KPI, OKR, etc).
• Executing using effective tools and processes as well as selling team management system and cadence – pipeline pursuit & closure, program implementation, relationship development, and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 50%+ travel in accordance with business need (domestically & internationally).
• 10+ years proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
• 5+ years of sales experience within the Data Center industry.
• 5+ years of experience in power/electrical systems and/or building automation systems.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Requirements

• 5+ years sales management leadership.
• 2+ years of strong proficiency, proven track record selling to Hyperscale customers.
• Demonstrated utilization of industry network and prior influential experience in the data center infrastructure sector to drive existing and new business development.
• Extensive demonstrated ability to build and scale a customer account while operating in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth understanding of data center clients with demonstrated industry influence.
• Ability to effectively navigate the client’s organization and the internal organization for action and results.

• The pay range for this position is $129,520.00 - $222,034.00 annually plus an uncapped commission structure.
