[Hiring] Presales Solution Consultant @Siemens

Role Description

This position is to join a team of Presales Solution Consultants aiming at supporting customer engagements in the Americas with the main focus being the U.S.

• Participate in or lead relevant PreSales processes to facilitate sales of software.
• Support the customer in adopting the solution and expanding the install base at existing customers.
• Lead conversations to gather customer business and technical requirements.
• Apply knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices, and competitive differentiation.
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations of the technical capabilities of the proposed solutions to customers.
• Speak with authority on our customer's business challenges and how DI SW can improve their business.
• Mentor less experienced PreSales Solution Consultants.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with discrete event simulation software.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented simulation modeling and inheritance.
• Experience integrating simulation within the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.
• Knowledge of Virtual Commissioning concepts and interfaces.
• Previous industry experience or experience in presales or delivery services/consulting roles.
• Understanding of the Manufacturing Planning domain.
• Ability to deliver structured and value-based presentations to all organizational levels.
• Self-motivated to effectively support working remotely.
• Self-directed learning, proactivity, teamwork, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in complex environments.
• Effective consultative interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with Python programming languages.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.
• The job will require traveling up to 60% of the time.
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Must currently reside in the continental USA.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Siemens software portfolio for Manufacturing planning.
• Knowledge of point cloud scanning, post-processing, and their areas of application in Digital Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Siemens OpSoftware portfolio.
• Expertise in artificial intelligence and agentic AI solutions.
