Role Description
We're looking for a talented Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our Sales Engineering team. In this role, you will:

Act as a trusted advisor for Acre's cloud, hybrid, and on-premise security solutions across Central Europe.

Design secure and scalable solutions that translate customer requirements into practical business outcomes.

Drive successful customer engagements by partnering with sales teams, customers, and channel partners throughout the sales cycle.
In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:

Lead technical pre-sales engagements by delivering tailored product demonstrations, technical workshops, and presentations for both technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers.

Manage and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs), defining success criteria and ensuring customers can confidently validate proposed solutions.

Develop solution architectures and deployment models, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), architecture diagrams, integration designs, and infrastructure recommendations.

Support bid and tender activities by contributing technical content for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and customer cybersecurity questionnaires.

Train and enable channel partners, distributors, and system integrators on product capabilities, installation best practices, and security compliance requirements.

Represent Acre at industry events, trade shows, working groups, customer workshops, and partner events.

Provide market and customer feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to help shape future product development and regional strategy.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, systems engineering, deployment engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

Strong physical security expertise, particularly in Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and Video Management Systems (VMS).

A solid technical foundation, including networking, workstation and server operating systems, database technologies, and cloud-native software architectures.

Excellent communication and consultative selling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for customers and stakeholders.

Professional fluency in English, with proficiency in another European language such as German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Dutch considered highly advantageous.

A degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, or physical security vendor certifications are considered a strong advantage.
