Role Description
The Manager of Direct Sales, Travel Team builds and leads a high-performing traveling door-to-door sales team supporting new and priority Fiber Deployment Areas (FDAs) across Clearwave Fiberโs 12-state footprint.

Responsible for recruiting, developing, and leading up to 10 Sales Executives.

Own team performance, culture, field execution, and deployment effectiveness.

Ensure consistent sales, activity, and customer experience standards across markets.
Your Mission: Build and lead an elite traveling direct sales team capable of deploying where Clearwave Fiber needs additional sales resources and market support.
Duties and Responsibilities

FDA Ownership and Performance:
-
Own Travel Team performance within assigned FDAs, including penetration, sales, installation, and revenue objectives.

Develop deployment strategies, manage territories and resources, and adjust field execution based on market conditions.

Lead deployments throughout Clearwave Fiberโs 12-state footprint, traveling up to 75% as business needs require.

Talent Strategy and Development:

Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop up to 10 Sales Executives.

Maintain a strong recruiting pipeline to achieve target headcount.

Develop team members through structured onboarding, field coaching, and ongoing professional development.

Culture, Coaching, and Accountability:

Create a high-energy, competitive, and accountable team culture.

Set clear expectations, recognize strong performance, and address performance gaps.

Maintain a strong field presence through ride-alongs and real-time coaching.

Sales Execution and KPI Management:

Manage team performance through measurable sales and activity standards.

Use KPI data to identify trends and improve productivity.

Hold Sales Executives accountable to established expectations.

Operational Execution and Reporting:

Ensure consistent execution of territory management and sales processes.

Provide accurate and timely visibility into FDA penetration and sales performance.

Maintain disciplined territory management to maximize available opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with Regional and local market leadership and other internal teams.

Share field insights and customer feedback to improve market execution.

Qualifications

3+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in direct sales, telecommunications, or home services.

Experience recruiting, hiring, coaching, and developing frontline sales professionals.

Strong understanding of activity-based sales management and performance reporting.

Experience with new market launches or building and scaling sales teams preferred.

Valid driverโs license and ability to meet company travel requirements.
