Role Description

We’re hiring an Individual Sales Support Agent! In this role, you will support day-to-day sales activities by providing information and assistance to customers, brokers, and internal organizations. You’ll be successful in this role if you have experience in customer service, Medicare, and/or Marketplace. Notes:

• The work schedule for this remote position is Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET.
• During Open Enrollment from October 1st through January 15th, the work schedule follows a rotating shift, covering 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. ET.
• Experience in Commercial Operations is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Receiving, investigating, and resolving inquiries timely and accurately, clearly documenting all communications.
• Answering basic inquiries and resolving routine problems regarding products and services via calls, email, or internet chat.
• Conducting periodic and regular surveys of customers to determine satisfaction and cross-selling opportunities.
• Performing contract administration support and resolving contract related issues.
• Developing new prospects, establishing customers, and finding opportunity to introduce an organization’s products and services.
• Handling customer service inquiries and problems of brokers around benefits, eligibility, and billing.
• Must be willing to work flexible/rotating schedules as business needs arise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a customer service support role is required.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to handle large volumes of work.
• Solid consultative understanding of insurance products.
• Ability to communicate health insurance knowledge and how it applies to member utilization.
