[Hiring] Independent Manufacturer Representative @Nexii Inc.

Role Description

As an independent manufacturer representative, you will represent the product lines of a specialized wall and roof panel manufacturer. This role is commission-based and requires strong relationships with architects, contractors, commercial developers, and owners within your territory.

• Independently represent and promote the manufacturer’s products within an assigned territory, communicating product features, specifications, and applicable standards accurately.
• Develop and manage professional relationships with architects, contractors, developers, property owners, and other key decision-makers.
• Identify, pursue, and support project opportunities to meet mutually agreed-upon annual sales and specification objectives.
• Prospect for and secure new accounts to expand market presence and grow revenue opportunities.
• Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking activities at your discretion to support business development efforts.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities using the manufacturer’s CRM or reporting tools.
• Provide periodic updates on sales activity, pipeline status, and market feedback to support collaboration and forecasting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business development or as a sales agent within the construction or building materials industry with existing relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and owners.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials procurement, and sustainable building practices.
• Familiarity with sustainable building technologies, LEED, or similar frameworks.
• Proven ability to drive specifications and revenue growth and close large-scale deals.
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Flexible, independent work structure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience working with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building technologies.
