Role Description

We’re looking for a Remote Home Buying Specialist to join our growing team in Central New Jersey. 80% of your work will be done in the comfort of your own home with only 20% of the work requiring you to be onsite at seller’s homes.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has drive, personality, curiosity, and a genuine desire to get better. You don’t need 20 years of real estate experience. In fact, we may prefer someone who is hungry to learn, coachable, and excited to build something rather than someone who thinks they already know everything.

We’re looking for someone with a “go get it” mentality. The goal is not for you to stay a specialist forever. The goal is to develop you into a highly capable Home Buying Leader.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead Management & Communication
  • Respond to inbound homeowner calls and leads quickly and professionally
  • Speak with homeowners over the phone to understand their property and situation
  • Build genuine rapport and establish trust
  • Qualify potential opportunities based on our acquisition criteria
  • Follow up consistently with homeowners throughout the sales process
  • Document conversations, follow-ups, and lead information accurately in our CRM
• Relationship Building
  • Create a positive experience for homeowners from the first conversation
  • Listen carefully and communicate with empathy
  • Help homeowners understand their options without being pushy or manipulative
  • Build relationships based on honesty, authenticity, and respect
  • Represent our company and values in every interaction
• As you learn our process and demonstrate your ability, you will have opportunities to:
  • Attend appointments with homeowners
  • Meet homeowners at their properties
  • Learn how we evaluate potential acquisitions
  • Learn real estate acquisition strategies and deal analysis
  • Participate in negotiations
  • Help structure offers
  • Negotiate and close your own deals

Qualifications

• Naturally outgoing and comfortable talking to people
• Hungry to learn and improve; no question is a “dumb” question
• Proactive—doesn't need constant direction
• Competitive with self and motivated by results
• Comfortable hearing “no” and continuing forward
• Curious and willing to ask questions
• Brings fun and positive energy to the team
• Takes coaching well
• Wants to grow into a bigger role over time
• Experience in sales, customer service, real estate, or phone-based communication is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
• Ability to learn and consistently follow a process
• Comfortable working independently from home
• Must live within approximately a 30-60 minute radius of Central New Jersey
