[Hiring] Healthy Workplaces Charity Specialist @Employment Office

Role Description

Healthy Workplaces is offering an internal team member the chance to take on a paid side gig supporting our September Step Forward event, working across sales outreach, event coordination and light admin.

• Time commitment: A few hours per week, flexible.
• Pay: Circa $300 per week - across 10 hours.
• Arrangement: Internal, side-gig, alongside your current role. This sits outside your existing role, so the expectation is you'll manage it outside standard work hours.

You'll be responsible for:

• Reaching out to potential Step Forward hosts to help populate the September event
• Managing the sales outreach pipeline
• Sending invoices
• Providing light touch customer service
• Contributing to social media and content creation, including EDMs
• Building relationships with hosts, sponsors and charity partners
• Helping raise brand awareness for Healthy Workplaces
• Handling light admin
• Supporting internal promotion and event organisation
• Optional: getting involved in board meetings and reporting, if this is of interest

Qualifications

• Comfortable with outreach and sales conversations
• Organised, with strong follow up
• Good written communication, for invoicing, social content and light EDM work
• Confident building relationships with corporate stakeholders and sponsors
• Genuine interest in workplace wellbeing and community fundraising
• Keen to build experience in sales, brand, event coordination or governance
• Bonus if you've used tools like Canva or social media schedulers, but not essential
