[Hiring] Head of Sales @Viridian Staffing

Role Description

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for a Sales Account Executive / Retail Sales Director to help drive sales for a fast-moving Hemp / Cannabis company.

Ideally, this individual will be based or willing to relocate to the Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina area; however, remote may be considered for candidates with performing existing books of business calling on smoke shops.

You will use your existing retail channel sales experience to:

• Grow the number of convenience, gas, or smoke shop store retailers carrying the product in the US.
• Grow sales volume at existing stores.

You must have experience selling into smoke shops regionally and ideally nationally as well. Your background in selling, ideally, hemp-based products into these channels will help to set you up for further success; however, successfully selling into at least one of these channels any type of product is required.

• Exceptional negotiation skills.
• Ability to close sales using proven communication skills.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with customers.

You'll have the opportunity to utilize your expert-level knowledge of the company's brand to elevate the brand's community profile. If you have proven success in driving growth in CBD / Hemp companies, have an existing book of business / experience selling hemp products into a variety of channels, are great at establishing credibility & rapport with clients, and building professional relationships, then this could be the right role for you.

This position will also require travel, and you should have regular access to a reliable vehicle / be close to a major airport. There also will be travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, if not based there.

Compensation: $80K+ + Commission

Qualifications
