[Hiring] Global Account Manager @Arrow Electronics

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Global Account Manager (m/w/d) to drive the growth and development of key global customer relationships. In this role, you will act as the primary strategic link between our customers and internal teams, ensuring a consistent global approach while delivering sustainable business growth across multiple regions.

As a trusted advisor, you will implement a consistent framework to:

• Identify new opportunities
• Align customer needs with Arrow's solutions
• Collaborate across sales, supply chain, engineering, finance, and executive stakeholders to create long-term value

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue growth and expand strategic global accounts
• Develop and execute global account plans to achieve business objectives
• Maintain and strengthen Preferred Supplier List (PSL) status with key customers
• Achieve full visibility of all relevant buy and sell opportunities
• Collaborate with global teams and departments to support global customers
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
• Identify customer needs and align them with Arrow Group products, services, and solutions
• Drive cross-selling opportunities and support business development initiatives
• Act as the primary link between customers and internal teams
• Support regional sales teams as primary strategic link in addressing challenges and identifying opportunities
• Represent Arrow Group at customer meetings, executive reviews, and industry events
• Monitor market trends, account performance, and growth opportunities
• Deliver ambitious revenue, growth, and customer satisfaction targets

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 5+ years of experience in Global Account Management, Strategic Sales, Business Development, or a comparable customer-facing commercial role
• Proven track record of successfully growing and developing strategic international accounts
• Experience managing global customers and engaging stakeholders across multiple regions
• Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results within a matrix organization
• Background in electronics, electronic components, semiconductor distribution, or the broader technology industry is highly preferred
• Comfortable building trusted relationships and negotiating with C-level executives and senior decision-makers
• Strong networking, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
• Analytical, proactive, and customer-focused mindset with a strong commercial acumen
• Experience in supplier and customer sales/distribution environments is an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally as required

In accordance with Austrian labor market regulations, the minimum annual gross salary for this position in Austria is €80,000. The actual compensation package will be determined based on qualifications, professional experience, and market benchmarks, and may significantly exceed this minimum amount.
