[Hiring] Founding BDR @LTV

Role Description

At LTV ai, we're redefining email marketing for e-commerce brands by automating a lot of the day-to-day manual grunt work that goes into email marketing, from segmentation to creating campaigns without designers to personalization. While increasing LTV and driving measurable growth, we help brands stay focused on what matters most - the customer.

This is a founding role - you're not inheriting a sequence library, a lead list, or someone else's playbook. You're building top of funnel from the ground up and writing the playbook the next ten reps will run.

You'll work directly with the founding team, and the pipeline you generate is the pipeline the company runs on. If you want a seat where your output is unambiguous and your path is whatever you make it, this is it.

Responsibilities

• Own top of funnel. Outbound email, cold calling, LinkedIn, events, communities, DMs, video - you pick the channels and prove them out.
• Run two motions at once: high-volume outbound to SMB e-commerce brands, and targeted, researched, multi-threaded outbound into enterprise accounts.
• Build and maintain your own lists, ICP definitions, and data sources.
• Get genuinely fluent in what breaks in e-commerce retention programs and lead every conversation with that.
• Write your own copy, test it relentlessly, and kill what doesn't work fast.
• Pick up the phone. Cold calling is a real part of this role.
• Build the outbound stack from scratch - sequencers, data enrichment, signal-based triggers, AI-assisted research and personalization at scale.
• Partner with the founding team and AEs on messaging, ICP refinement, and qualification.
• Document what works - sequences, call frameworks, objection handling, dashboards.

Qualifications

• An AI-first operator - instinctively uses AI to do the work of three BDRs.
• 1-4 years in an outbound-heavy role or a track record that proves you can grind, learn fast, and win.
• Genuinely hungry - measures success in meetings booked and is competitive about it.
• Comfortable on the phone with strangers and unbothered by rejection at volume.
• Strong writer - can write a cold email that sounds human and gets a reply.
• Range across both motions - can run volume when appropriate and slow down for deeper engagement when needed.
• Curious about the space - expected to understand customers' problems better than most marketers do.
• Ownership mentality - spots gaps and fills them without being asked.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience selling into e-commerce, retention, or MarTech.
• Familiarity with the retention stack (Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive).
• Built or scaled an outbound motion from zero before.
• Industry experience is not a requirement; quick learners are welcome.
