[Hiring] Downstream Hardware Sales Specialist @Danaher Corporation

Role Description

The Downstream Hardware Sales Specialist is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products. This position reports to the Downstream Modality leader and is part of the Bioprocess commercial organization located in Pune/Mumbai/Ahmedabad and will be a remote role to cover the assigned regions.

• Sell Cytiva’s Downstream Hardware solutions and equipment across the assigned territory covering India region.
• Provide high‑level technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, including:
  • Pre‑sales discussions
  • Product demonstrations
  • Technical trainings
  • Post‑sales support
  • Seminars
  • Tender support
  • Promotional events
• Consult customers on downstream process applications, leading technical and process‑related conversations with engineering teams and subject matter experts.
• Identify, develop and close new business opportunities while nurturing long‑term relationships with existing accounts, contributing to regional account plans and maintaining an active sales funnel in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Forecast and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets by prioritizing selling activities, ensuring strong territory coverage and collaborating cross‑functionally with:
  • Account management
  • Service engineering
  • Product management
  • Marketing
  • Finance
  • Legal
  • Scientific support

Qualifications

• B. Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc in Biotechnology, Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Several years (7 – 10 years) of commercial experience, ideally within the biotechnology or bioprocessing industry.
• Fluent in English.
• Willing and able to travel regularly (up to approximately 50%) throughout the assigned territory and internationally for activities such as trade shows or FATs.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 20 lb.
• Willing to travel overnight, within territory or locations.
