[Hiring] Director of Sales, Pharma @Widger Talent

Role Description

Our client, TailorMed, has connected patients across 945+ hospitals to over $7.4 billion in financial assistance since 2020, and they're just getting started. Awarded Best in Class in Health Equity (2025), they're the leading medication success platform helping patients overcome barriers to access, affordability, and adherence.

They're seeking a results-driven Director of Sales to drive growth within their pharmaceutical vertical - one of the fastest-growing parts of the business. As an individual contributor, you'll own the full enterprise sales cycle, build relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, close high-impact deals, and help expand TailorMed's role in advancing patient access and affordability.

• Complex enterprise SaaS sales into pharmaceutical manufacturers — market access, patient services, and commercial teams.
• Understanding of patient journeys, hub services, and what pharma brands are trying to accomplish for their patients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling SaaS solutions to pharma manufacturers (not just selling at pharma — selling to brand and market access teams).
• Deep knowledge of the patient access/market access ecosystem — copay, PAP, specialty pharmacy channels.
• Hunter mentality — you'll own a full cycle from prospecting through close.
• Entrepreneurial, self-directed; you won't have a full playbook handed to you.
• Comfortable with 30–50% travel.

Requirements

• Results-driven with a focus on growth.
• Ability to build relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers.
• Experience in closing high-impact deals.
