Role Description
Help Lead the Next Stage of Growth at Fieldpiece. This is an opportunity to take ownership of and build your new territory. As Director of Sales, you'll lead a combination of Fieldpiece sales professionals and independent sales agency partners while working closely with our distributor network, contractors, and HVACR technicians. You'll be responsible for:

Identifying new opportunities across the region
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the market - not managing it from behind a desk.
What You'll Do:

Lead regional sales strategy and execution to drive revenue, market share, and product penetration.

Manage, coach, and develop Fieldpiece sales professionals and independent sales agency partners.

Build strong relationships with distributor leadership, branch teams, contractors, and HVACR technicians.

Expand product and SKU penetration throughout the distributor network.

Analyze sales performance, market conditions, and territory opportunities and take action to accelerate growth.

Establish clear expectations, performance measures, and accountability across the sales organization.

Stay close to customers and the field to understand competitive activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities.

Use your product and industry knowledge to educate customers, partners, and sales teams.

Maintain strong CRM discipline and visibility into pipeline, accounts, opportunities, and sales activity.

Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Service, and other teams to support customers and regional growth.
Qualifications

5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within HVACR, professional tools, test instruments, or a related industry.

Experience leading both direct salespeople and independent sales agency partners.

Strong experience selling through distributor networks and driving results at the branch level.

Demonstrated success growing revenue and market share across a multi-state territory.

Strong sales leadership, coaching, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Ability to use sales data and market insights to identify opportunities and make sound business decisions.

A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activity, pipeline, and performance.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.

Ability to travel approximately 60% throughout the assigned territory.

Residence within the assigned territory is required.
