Role Description
The location for this position is virtual/remote (within the U.S.). Reporting to the Commercial Director, supporting the Hilton Aruba and The Westerly, you will lead a sales team and be responsible for group sales efforts.

Represent the hotel by soliciting, responding to, and negotiating complex group accommodations (generally over 50 guest rooms).

Negotiate contracts with customers and commission agreements with third-party agencies.

Initiate the preparation of proposals and contracts to advise prospective customers for the hotel guest rooms, meeting space, date, space, and rate availability.

Implement monthly action calendar, completing plans as outlined and submitting monthly memos, evaluating plans' efficiency.

Conduct verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.

Internally promote Hilton Hotels Corporation CORE programs.

Meet with and entertain clients, some of which will require travel.

Manage travel and tradeshow schedules, maintaining budgets and assessing return on activity.

Coordinate ongoing research of the industry to detect trends and related information to develop marketing strategies.

Make reasonable recommendations and contribute research and ideas to improve potential from different markets.
Qualifications

Five (5) years of hotel sales experience

Two (2) years of supervisory experience

Experience with geographic and vertically designated markets.

Knowledge of the travel industry, current market trends, and economic factors.

Skill in the delivery of sales presentations.

Travel up to 30% of the time domestically and internationally
Requirements

Luxury Sales experience

Proficiency with Delphi.fdc

College degree

Bilingual in Spanish, Papiamento, and/or Dutch
