Role Description

The Customer Sales Analyst (CSA) is an internal sales role that delivers business insights and recommendations to drive top-line growth for the Ahold Delhaize USA Customer Business Teams. Through category research and analysis, the CSA transforms customer, consumer, and internal data into actionable insights that improve business performance. In partnership with the customer business team and sales execution organization, the CSA identifies and addresses new and existing growth opportunities across all Kraft Heinz categories and business teams supporting Ahold Delhaize USA. This position applies category management principles to identify business opportunities and evaluate key sales levers, including promotion, pricing, distribution, and assortment. The CSA also leads information and training activities, manages data to support sales planning, and continuously improves the process of delivering sales intelligence to the team. The ideal candidate can translate data from multiple sources into actionable insights and is proficient in Microsoft Power BI.

Qualifications

• Advanced MS Excel expertise for sales analysis, leveraging capabilities that include Power Query for multi-source data consolidation, complex arrays (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH) for dynamic relational mapping, advanced Pivot Tables for dimensional aggregation, and Slicers to build interactive executive dashboards among other advanced functions.
• Ability to interpret data from various data sources and derive actionable insights to help guide the customer business team.
• Strong sales background with knowledge of business processes and category management.
• Ability to work within a Customer Business Team framework and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to plan, organize and set/achieve priorities when performing work.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).

• Ensures that the customer, consumer, and category insights are delivered effectively.
• Conducts quarterly and annual category reviews and periodic assessments.
• Pulls relevant data and information to build effective selling stories.
• Develops impactful customer specific selling stories that reflect key category business building initiatives.
