[Hiring] Customer Development Manager @Tyson Foods

Role Description

This position is responsible for selling retail poultry products, increasing market share and maintaining good customer relations within the established region in the Mountain Pacific Northwest region of the US.

• Maintain relations and increase account penetration at the following accounts:
  • Albertsons Intermountain
  • Albertsons Denver
  • Albertsons Seattle
  • Albertsons Portland
• Navigate the retail poultry network of buyers responsible for all aspects of the retail poultry set to achieve maximum volume potential and profitability.
• Conduct product pricing and promotional programs based on customer direct and adjacent markets' degree of profitability and personal objectives.
• Work in close collaboration with various internal business units, including:
  • Retail poultry
  • Retail marketing insights
  • Retail execution
  • Revenue management
• Ensure the Customer and Broker partners know Tyson product features, benefits, and value-added qualities.
• Establish a service and response level to the Customer that exceeds the industry standard.
• Handle Customer questions and complaints on various issues, ensuring timely problem resolution.
• Manage the Advertising Marketing fund.
• Oversee all price discounts and perform other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 5 plus years sales experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Project management and/or strategic planning experience is required.
