Role Description

Build the partner channel for South Africa’s sovereign cloud.

• Location: Remote, South Africa, with regular travel to partners and events
• Type: Permanent, full-time. Reports to the Executive Head of Sales

South African businesses want their data to stay in South Africa. When something breaks at 2am, they want a local engineer on the phone, not a ticket in an offshore queue. Nymbis gives them both.

The IT consultants, resellers and MSPs who already advise those businesses are the fastest way to reach them. This role builds that route. You’ll recruit the partners, help shape how the programme works and turn the channel into a predictable source of recurring revenue. You’ll work directly with the Executive Head of Sales, with the backing of the Vivica group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B technology sales, including at least 3 years managing channel partners, resellers or MSPs in South Africa.
• A record of recruiting partners and growing partner revenue that you can show in numbers.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery, and how MSPs build and price managed services.
• Experience selling recurring revenue (MRR/ARR) and a sound grasp of partner margin economics.
• A degree or diploma in commerce, business or IT, or equivalent experience. Veeam, VMware, Microsoft or hyperscaler accreditations are a plus.
• A valid driver’s licence and your own vehicle.

Requirements

• Find and sign the partners who matter. Agents, resellers and MSPs with the customers and capability to grow with us, from vendor ecosystems, Teraco, distributors and your own network.
• Help shape the partner programme. Tiers, onboarding and deal registration, improved with real partner data, not guesswork.
• Make partners successful. Train them, equip them with sales kits and demo or not-for-resale (NFR) environments, and sit with them in early customer meetings until they can sell on their own.
• Grow a channel you can forecast. Own the channel pipeline and quota, and report a forecast the business can plan on.
• Hold partners to clear, agreed targets, and invest your time in the ones who grow.
• Keep it fair. Work with our direct sales and account teams so every customer has one clear owner, and partner customers get the same 24/7 local service as everyone else.
