Role Description
The Agency Activation Coordinator is a high-volume, outbound-focused role dedicated to re-engaging dormant and low-producing branches of National Accounts in HOA/Porch's book of business. This role sits apart from relationship management functions that focus on high-producing or newly graduated agents β its sole mandate is reawakening activity among agents who have gone quiet or never ramped up. Success depends on volume, persistence, and creative, agent-specific outreach.
-
Place a high volume of daily outbound calls to dormant and low-producing agents, following defined dialing and productivity targets.
-
Identify and prioritize dormant and low-producing agents from assigned lists/segments based on prior production history and reactivation potential.
-
Re-introduce agents to current products, incentives, campaigns, and support resources that may re-ignite their interest in writing business.
-
Uncover the reasons behind an agent's drop-off or stagnation (e.g., service issues, competing carrier relationships, lack of awareness) and document findings for follow-up or escalation.
-
Execute structured, repeatable outreach cadences/scripts while adapting tone and approach to the individual agent.
-
Lead agent webinars for large groups covering product updates and announcements, with follow-up calls to attendees to drive activation.
-
Log every call attempt, outcome, and agent response accurately and promptly in the CRM/dialer platform.
-
Meet or exceed daily/weekly KPIs for call volume, contact rate, and successful reactivations (e.g., first quote or bound policy after outreach).
-
Escalate agents who show renewed production momentum to the appropriate Agency Relationship Manager or Agency Development and Success Specialist for deeper relationship management.
-
Escalate agents with service, appointment, or compliance issues to the appropriate internal team.
-
Provide feedback to leadership on recurring objections, trends, or barriers observed across dormant/low-producing agent segments to help refine reactivation strategy and messaging.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree a plus but not required.
-
Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license preferred but not required.
-
1+ years of experience in high-volume outbound calling, telesales, collections, or a similar dial-heavy environment; insurance or financial services experience a plus but not required.
-
Demonstrated resilience and comfort with high call volumes, overcoming objections and apathy, and repetitive outreach cadences.
-
Strong verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to build quick rapport over the phone.
-
Comfort using CRM, dialer, or call-center software; ability to accurately log activity in real time.
-
Creative, persistent approach to outreach β willing to try multiple angles/channels to re-engage a non-responsive contact.
-
Basic understanding of, or willingness to learn, independent-agent insurance distribution and how agents produce business.
-
Ability to work assigned shift hours aligned with U.S. business hours.
-
Experience working with global and/or US based business teams.
