[Hiring] Account Executive @ChargePoint

Role Description

We’re looking for a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to accelerate growth by identifying, engaging, and securing new customers. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in expanding our footprint across key industries by developing strategic relationships and turning prospects into long-term clients. You thrive in building pipeline from the ground up, navigating complex sales cycles, and closing high-impact deals.

This is a role for someone who takes the initiative, enjoys opening new doors, and knows how to create value where others see barriers. You’ll be supported by a cross-functional team, but you lead the charge, bringing our solutions to new markets and decision-makers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of B2B sales experience with consistent quota attainment in enterprise or commercial markets
• Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals
• Strong executive communication skills with experience selling to C‑suite decision-makers
• Experience managing opportunities, forecasts, and pipelines in Salesforce (or similar CRM)
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for customer and partner engagement

Requirements

• Experience selling into fleet operations, energy/CRE, automotive, or adjacent industries
• Familiarity with EV solutions, energy infrastructure, or sustainability-focused technologies
• Experience supporting RFPs, RFQs, and enterprise procurement processes
• Understanding of energy policies, incentives, or funding programs (e.g., IRA, utility rebates)
• Experience collaborating with channel or partner-led go-to-market motions

Benefits

• Targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $106,000 to $150,000
• Compensation does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable
• Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate
