[Hiring] Account Executive @Localcoin

Role Description

Localcoin is expanding into Slovakia for the very first time—and we’re looking for our first Account Executive to build this market from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to establish Localcoin’s presence in Slovakia, establish our retail partnerships, and help shape our growth strategy in a new region. As the first hire in this market, you’ll not only be responsible for acquiring prime retail space for our Bitcoin Kiosks and products but also for building strong relationships, representing our brand locally, and creating the foundation for future expansion. If you’re motivated, good at solving problems, and excited to help lead the way in digital currency, this role gives you the chance to make a real impact from day one.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales and account management, ideally in retail, franchises, payments/fintech, or retail real estate.
• Comfortable working in a new market where processes are still being developed.
• Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Friendly and customer-focused, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Slovak and good working English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Good knowledge of or strong interest in cryptocurrency and fintech.
• Valid Category B driver's licence and ability to travel regularly throughout Slovakia; access to a reliable vehicle is required.
• Legal right to work in Slovakia.

Requirements

• Manage the full sales process from finding new partners and contacting them to negotiating, signing contracts, and supporting them afterward.
• Find new business opportunities through cold calls, visits to locations, and direct outreach. Keep a strong list of potential partners.
• Build strong relationships with partners and stay in regular contact to keep them satisfied and grow the partnership.
• Represent Localcoin in Slovakia by explaining our products, their benefits, and building trust with new partners.
• Help partners with requests such as ownership changes, moving locations, or renovations.
• Find ways to grow existing partnerships by offering additional products or services.
• Work with operations, sales, and finance teams at HQ to make sure partner and contract information is correctly updated in our systems.
• Help solve technical problems and send more complex issues to the right team.
• Travel regularly to partner locations for meetings, location checks, and contract renewals.
• Keep up with retail and fintech trends, competitors, and changing customer needs.
• Meet monthly sales goals and KPIs and help improve our sales approach in Slovakia.

Benefits

• Remote work within Slovakia, with frequent business travel throughout Slovakia.
• Initial 6-month fixed-term employment agreement, with the possibility of extension or conversion to indefinite-term employment based on business needs and performance.
• Salary: €2,900–€3,200 gross per month, determined based on objective, role-relevant criteria.
• Eligible for performance-based commission/bonus in accordance with Localcoin's applicable incentive plan.
• Standard business hours with occasional early evening meetings to support collaboration with Canadian teams.
