Role Description

The VP of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Sales owns the strategy, execution, and results for NextGenโ€™s RCM sales business. This leader drives growth across RCM outsourcing, technology enabled services and automation, serving as the RCM expert alongside the ambulatory sales organization.

  • Hands-on leader focused on RCM sales strategy and execution
  • Sets the standard for sales excellence, owning messaging, training, and performance
  • Leads and develops a high-impact sales team of 6 direct reports
  • Directly leads and develops a team of 4โ€“6 FSDs
  • Provides strategic direction, coaching, and accountability to drive quota attainment and revenue growth
  • Partners closely with SVP of RCM, Operations, Marketing, and executive sales leadership
  • Aligns commercial strategy with delivery to maximize client financial outcomes
  • Contributes to strategic initiatives specific to area of responsibility
  • Establishes sales quotas, profit goals, and product mix expectations
  • Produces sales forecasts and related reports for strategic planning
  • Develops and executes sales presentations
  • Meets changing customer needs through strategic sales plan implementation
  • Researches the market and competitors
  • Collaborates with marketing and product teams to develop promotional materials
  • Builds relationships with customers
  • Travels up to 75%
  • Performs other duties that support the overall objective of the position

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required
  • Master or MBA is a plus
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required qualifications

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in healthcare related sales
  • 5 years of recent management experience in a sales-driven environment
  • Experience implementing sales strategies, systems, and processes

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional knowledge of solutions portfolio and specialty markets
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Office Suite, and SharePoint
  • Exceptional leadership, influencing, negotiation, strategic, analytical, judgment, communication, and presentation skills
  • Client-facing executive-level sales acumen
  • Ability to take ownership and deliver results aligned with growth objectives
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders on complex matters
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and prioritizing workload
