Role Description

This role involves growth-oriented leadership of CoreLogic’s UK & International (non-US) Cat Risk business, focusing on customer engagement and sales opportunity development to grow market share.

  • Operational oversight and direction of Cat Risk business operations and personnel.
  • Develop and maintain industry stakeholder relationships; speak at industry events.
  • Translate customer needs and feedback, and emerging market and regulatory requirements into product development themes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers; work with prospective clients through the sales process.
  • Serve as an informal coach and expert to sales and customer success teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the insurance, risk management, or related industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to provide strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Experience in managing P&L responsibilities and budget oversight.
  • Deep understanding of the Cat Risk industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks.
  • Established network of industry contacts and experience in engaging with industry stakeholders.
  • Experience in public speaking and presenting at industry events.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and translate them into actionable business strategies.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to customers and provide thought leadership on best practices.
  • Experience in translating customer feedback and market trends into innovative product development themes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to address business challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring teams to enhance their skills and performance.
