Role Description

The VP and GM of North America and Global Commercial Excellence is accountable for driving sales and profitability by developing and executing strategic growth plans in a dynamic environment. They will have direct revenue responsibility for approximately USD $600M, which has the potential to more than double over the next five to ten years.

• Lead the team in developing and executing a transformative business strategy that leverages the strong business and technology foundation.
• Develop and execute channel and customer plans to aggressively grow sales, service, customer-installed base, and market share.
• Focus on achieving sales and operating profit objectives while providing timely, accurate sales and financial forecasting.
• Maintain familiarity with the industry through robust industry relationships to gain an authoritative understanding of sales and marketing opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and key account opportunities.
• Build a world-class team that leverages the Veralto Enterprise System.
• Instill a value-selling vision and agenda as an integral part of the company’s goals for success.
• Foster internal relationships to nurture a culture based on respect, teamwork, communication, inclusion, and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of successful commercial and business leadership experience.
• Strong track record of driving substantial revenue growth for new and existing products and services.
• A high level of strategic agility, excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Significant experience with financial modeling and business case development.
• Ability to quickly grasp an understanding of the North America water market.
• Demonstrated ability to develop partnership strategies that support organizational goals.
• Proven capability to deliver results and drive strategic leadership within large scale organizations.
• High level of cultural sensitivity and awareness to create a diverse organization.
• Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Requirements

• Own the North America Commercial P&L with full accountability for bookings, revenue, margin, and profitability.
• Provide end-to-end strategic and organizational leadership for commercial operations.
• Define and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy and sales execution plan.
• Drive profitable service revenue growth across North America.
• Maintain deep market, customer, and competitive insights.
• Build sustainable commercial capability by identifying improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline and succession capability.
• Partner closely with Corporate Development on mergers and acquisitions.
