[Hiring] Territory Sales Representative @Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment

Role Description

This is a field-based sales role focused on building long-term relationships, identifying equipment needs, and delivering practical, high-impact solutions. You’ll work directly with public works departments, contractors, and fleet operators to keep their operations moving.

• Meet with customers throughout New Jersey
• Demo equipment, quote solutions, and close deals
• Manage your schedule and pipeline with the independence of a business owner
• Collaborate with your local branch in New Castle, DE for support, parts, and service coordination

Qualifications

• You have direct B2B experience selling heavy equipment or vocational trucks
• You’ve successfully sold to municipalities and understand public-sector procurement and relationship building
• You thrive in a high-performing, team-oriented environment and enjoy helping customers succeed
• You’re mechanically minded and comfortable talking through specs, hydraulics, electrical systems , and performance factors
• You’re confident in the field, at ease behind the wheel, and enjoy the variety that comes with working in equipment sales
• You build trust quickly and become your customer’s first call when they need solutions
• You're able to lift up to 50 lbs and easily get in/out of large vehicles and equipment
• You have a clean driving record and are willing to obtain a CDL (we’ll sponsor and support)

Requirements

• Strong compensation — Base salary plus a guaranteed draw of up to $125K in the first year, with additional uncapped commissions. Top performers regularly earn $250K+ annually.
