[Hiring] Territory Sales Representative @Orbit Industries Inc

Role Description

Orbit Industries, a leading manufacturer of Electrical products, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Territory Salesman to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with distributors and contractors, promoting our products, and driving sales growth within an assigned territory.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers within the designated territory.
• Responsible for achieving sales, profit, and growth goals for all Orbit products within the assigned territory.
• Maintain desirable mix and margins at distribution through the assigned territory.
• Ensure sales are profitable and meet or exceed expectations and requirements as set by management.
• Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Identify, evaluate, and select distributor partners within the assigned territory.
• Develop and build direct relationships with Electrical distributors, contractors, MRO, and other users of Orbit’s products.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of our electrical products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
• Provide product training for distributors and contractors.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our unique labor-saving products and the breadth of the Orbit line to distributors and contractors.
• Recommend appropriate solutions to contractors, end-users, and specifiers.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and weekly itineraries and call reports.
• Submit expense reports in a timely manner.
• Timely follow-up and compliance with all requests from management.
• Work closely with the sales team, inside sales, and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.
