Role Description

The Technical Sales Representative II is responsible for the sale of new activated carbon, equipment and services as well as growing and maintaining current business relationships within the defined geographical and/or market specific territories. Typical Territory revenue responsibility $3-10 MM (though not confined to this range).

  • Responsible for the achievement of geographical territory annual sales and profit plan goals
  • Conduct activities in accordance with the marketing plan and sales strategies for assigned customer and market responsibilities
  • Conduct activities so as to grow profitability for the defined geographical territory and be judicious with expenses
  • Maintain and grow the current assigned business base
  • Strategically beat the competition and continually monitor and report on competitive pricing and activities
  • Develop deep and multi-level and multi-functional market relationships with customer base and prospects
  • Prepare and document all sales proposals and customer communications as required by the company and business unit directives
  • Keep the Regional Sales Director informed of all activities, including business threats and opportunities, in the assigned customer and market territory
  • Conduct activities in a safe manner
  • Support the BU and Company utilizing professional business practices

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required (Engineering Degree preferred, will consider equivalent work experience)
  • A Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
  • 2-3 years of Selling Experience is required
