[Hiring] Technical Sales Engineer @Stannah

Role Description

Stannah’s New Lift Division is growing, and we’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. This is a home‑based role with regular travel across East Anglia.

• Promote and sell our machinery directive Lift range within your designated region.
• Build strong relationships, identify opportunities, and guide customers toward the right solutions.
• Provide trusted advice using your technical knowledge to maximize our market presence.
• Results-driven and passionate about customer service.
• Previous sales experience is ideal, but engineers ready to step into a sales role are also encouraged to apply.
• Working hours: Mon-Thurs 08:30-17:30 and Friday 08:30 - 13:30.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a lift industry job, ideally in a sales capacity.
• Proven sales experience.
• Relevant professional or technical qualification or related experience.

Requirements

• Achieve annual targeted sales, average selling prices, and conversion ratios.
• Monitor and report on progress, identifying and acting upon issues and concerns that arise.
• Formulate and exercise strategies for optimising sales.
• Assess the needs of the client through good questioning techniques.
• Provide accurate quotations and ensure leads and quotes are followed up.
• Identify, visit, and build relationships with prospects and repeat customers.
• Carry out site visits where required.
