Strategic Account Manager – NA East Region Where will you work: The successful candidate will work remotely in Florida As a Strategic Account Manager, Ag Commercial at Mosaic, you will manage and expand relationships with Mosaic’s top-tier strategic customers across multiple territories in our NA east sales region. This critical role involves leading sales initiatives, developing strategies, and executing customer account planning cycles for a diverse portfolio of Phosphate, Potash, and Bioscience products. Your efforts will be essential in achieving sales and margin goals while advancing Mosaic's mission to help the world grow the food it needs sustainably. What you’ll do: Develop, support, and defend sales plan while representing the entire range of Mosaic products and services to assigned customer. Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Mosaic’s business as well as the customer’s business and be able to turn that knowledge into value for the customer and Mosaic. Coordinate and direct a team of Mosaic sales personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations. Lead solution development efforts within Mosaic while coordinating the involvement of customer at all levels for alignment to achieve Mosaic key objectives and sales targets. Increase sales of Mosaic’s key performance and bioscience products – MicroEssentials Aspire, Powercoat and Biopath to achieve stretch profitability goals and differentiate Mosaic in the market. Develop budgets, analyze market trends, forecast demand, and monitor supply chain planning to achieve business objectives. Conduct strategic analysis and develop GTM strategies for sustainable growth in revenue and market share while optimizing netbacks and margin to Mosaic. Ensure that all the business transactions comply with the policies, rules and procedures defined by Mosaic (code of conduct, principles, safety and environment, risk exposure, financial reporting and Human Resources policies). Partner and collaborate with marketing, product management, supply chain, finance, credit, and other cross functional teams to provide a high level of customer experience and achieve commercial priorities and product budgets. What you’ll need: Bachelor ‘s degree required Major: Agriculture, Business, Economics or related field. 8+ years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing. Price and position risk experience. Knowledge of product life cycle management. Ability to create branding and marketing strategies to support sales plan. Proven strategic sales planning capabilities and market knowledge. Ability to provide weekly, monthly and quarterly sales, market conditions and logistic updates with customers. Experience in preparing, presenting and discussing proposals to senior and commercial leadership. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail. Ability to lead and facilitate communication amongst a team for alignment of Mosaic and customer strategy. Ability to effectively work and build relationships with customers and employees at all levels within the organization. Business and financial acumen. Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to communicate persuasively with customers and execute contract negotiations. Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities. Ability to travel at least 40% of the time. Proven track record of identifying and implementing new and innovative ideas. Solid computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Bonus points if you have the following: Familiarity with salesforce.com, 09 forecasting tool or other CRM and digital marketing. Background of production agriculture and agronomy.
