Role Description

We are looking for a sophisticated, high-energy Strategic Account Executive to join our Financial Services vertical. This is a unique role combining New Business Development (Hunter) and Strategic Account Management (Farmer) . You will be responsible for breaking into new "Tier 1" financial institutions while simultaneously identifying and closing expansion opportunities within a hand-picked portfolio of existing marquee accounts.

  • Full-Cycle Sales: Own the entire sales process from initial prospecting and discovery to contract negotiation and closing for new logos.
  • Account Expansion: Develop and execute strategic account plans for existing clients to drive upsell and cross-sell revenue, ensuring our solution is deeply embedded in their infrastructure.
  • Vertical Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on FinTech trends, regulatory changes, and the digital transformation needs of banks, asset managers, and insurance firms.
  • Multi-Threaded Outreach: Build and maintain relationships across multiple business units (e.g., Risk, IT, Operations, and Digital Product) and levels (Director to C-Suite).
  • Collaboration: Partner with Sales Engineering and Product teams to customize solutions that meet the rigorous security and compliance standards of the financial industry.
  • Forecasting: Maintain a high level of CRM hygiene (Salesforce) and provide accurate quarterly revenue forecasts.

Qualifications

  • 5โ€“10 years of experience in Enterprise B2B sales, specifically selling into the Financial Services sector (Banking, FinTech, Insurance, or Capital Markets).
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding $1M+ annual quotas and closing six-figure or seven-figure deals.
  • Proficiency in a structured sales framework (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler).
  • Ability to speak the language of Financeโ€”understanding P&L impact, ROI modeling, and the regulatory landscape (GDPR, SOC2, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (approx. 25%).
