Role Description

The role of the Sr. Vice President Sales is to develop new business, including providing leads and introductions, driving the sales pipeline and systematizing a successful approach to selling Kermit’s products and services. Additionally, they will manage a small team of sales and marketing professionals. They will report to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO).

  • Establish a performance-driven team, and manage with a culture of transparency, accountability, creativity, and entrepreneurialism. Conduct quarterly performance evaluations and annual reviews of team members.
  • Consistently hitting and/or surpassing targets for de-novo clients, client expansion and channel distribution partner business.
  • Develop requisite expertise of Kermit’s products and solutions, our position within hospital/ASC supply chain, along with selling points associated with key features of our solutions.
  • Develop pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities by leveraging applicable relationships, pipeline development skills and the product-market fit of the Kermit solutions. Progress leads through each stage of the pipeline in an efficient and purposeful way to an ultimate close of the sale.
  • Effectively communicate the value, benefits, and competitive advantages of Kermit when interacting with prospective clients.
  • Experience with Excel and other financial modeling tools that demonstrate Kermit’s value to prospective clients and to manage sales analysis, forecasts or budgets.
  • Engage Kermit leadership when appropriate to assist in your sales efforts with prospective clients.
  • Effectively plan for new meetings with prospective clients by gathering information on the prospect’s traits, personalities, motivations, and competitive considerations.
  • Draw upon your skills and experience in selling enterprise solutions, identify tactics to close individual sales opportunities.
  • Use company provided CRM technologies to document and track sales activities and target prospect clients.
  • Maintain integrity of CRM database by updating information on individual accounts, leads, and opportunities.
  • Work with Kermit’s leaders to develop new selling strategies, such as ideas for new campaigns, trade show participation, speaking opportunities, webinar topics, etc.
  • When appropriate, attend trade shows, association meetings, and other events that include prospective Kermit clients to build a pipeline.
  • Proactively promote Kermit’s brand where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business field required. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum eight years in medical equipment sales, with at least three in a managerial role.

Travel Required

Sr. VP Sales should expect to travel between 10% to 50% of the time depending on each client’s tolerance for on-site meetings. They may be required to attend departmental or company meetings in person.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to be positioned at a computer for long periods of time during routine working hours.
  • Must be able to make presentations and speak clearly.
