Role Description

The primary purpose of the Senior Director of Central Selling role is to meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives by driving sales strategy and sales execution for assigned vertical while proactively anticipating trends in customer growth and satisfaction.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Lead a team of Central Selling Directors
  • Support the transformation and strategy of the Central Selling organization
  • Develop a centralized selling strategy focusing on growing sales profitably and elevating the customer experience
  • Align cross-functionally ensuring effective communication, processes, quality, and training for the team

What You Will Do

  • Lead sales team for multiple national products and installation services
  • Oversee the sales teams ensuring sales plan achievement, technology requirements, and professional development of the team
  • Remove obstacles and set prioritization to ensure achievement of sales and customer satisfaction objectives
  • Assess capacity risk and create appropriate risk mitigation strategies
  • Resolve or escalate sales risks with proposed mitigations to leadership
  • Coordinate with shared services for creation of reporting metrics and dashboards to measure KPIs
  • Develop partnerships and networks across multiple organizations within Lowe’s and with external vendors
  • Prioritize coaching and performance management efforts
  • Build long-lasting relationships with Merchandising VPs and other leaders
  • Work directly with key stakeholders to understand potential changes
  • Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships
  • Drive innovation and efficiency across the team
  • Establish productive relationships with field partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Related Business Field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8-10 Years Experience leading sales professionals delivering business results
  • 5-7 Years Positively impacting the performance of sales team members
  • 3-5 Years Demonstrated ability to work with remotely located sales team members

Preferred Skills/Education

  • 5-7 Years Experience working in a retail, specifically in Home Improvement
  • 3-5 Years Experience incorporating market data and building strategic plans for emerging trends
