[Hiring] Specialist Solution Architect @Zscaler

Role Description

We are looking for a Specialist Solution Architect to join our Global Speciality Sales team. This is a remote role based in the Western Region - USA, reporting to the Sr. Director, Specialist Solution Architects. The Specialist Solution Architect serves as the primary technical lead and strategic advisor, guiding customers across the Americas to secure workloads and traffic across diverse hybrid and multi-cloud environments by leveraging Zscaler’s Zero Trust Architecture to achieve key business outcomes. The role will also collaborate with field teams (SEs, AEs, and Transformation Architects) at the highest levels, driving internal and customer-facing enablement for Zero Trust Cloud use cases to accelerate Zscaler’s regional GTM strategy. Furthermore, The Specialist Solution Architect will act as a critical link between the field and Product Management, providing real-world insights and customer feedback to influence the Product Roadmap and ensure Zscaler’s innovations continue to solve the most complex Cloud Security challenges.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Serving as the technical expert for Zero Trust Architecture in Cloud environments, focusing on AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Collaborating with sales and engineering teams to provide technical insights that influence the Product roadmap
• Leading conversations about Zero Trust Security trends, strategies, and deployment with customers at all organizational levels
• Running customer Proof-of-Value engagements in collaboration with Sales Engineers, demonstrating Zscaler’s unique value proposition
• Providing competitive insights and positioning Zscaler solutions as the best alternative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent certifications/experience
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, systems engineering, or enterprise security architecture
• Hands-on expertise in security, networking, and applications, with practical experience on at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong presentation and communication skills to engage with diverse audiences, from practitioners to executives
• Fluency in English and French is required while proficiency in Spanish and/or Italian is desirable

Requirements

• Familiarity with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Private Access (ZPA) or similar enterprise-grade SSE/SASE/Cloud Security solutions
• Experience delivering cloud-based solutions within Zero Trust frameworks
• Expertise in modern networking (SD-WAN) and cloud connectivity strategies
