Role Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic Services Business Development Manager to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.

The Services Business Development Manager will manage and drive sales engagements for:

  • Advanced Support
  • Incident Response
  • FortiGuard services
  • Consulting services
  • Professional services solutions to our Western Canada Customers

This person will also lead customer engagements with Field Sales and manage a Services quota in the specified territory. In this role, you will:

  • Identify ways to enhance the level of the support experience.
  • Help customers build strategies to identify cyber risk.
  • Deploy various Fortinet technologies to resolve challenges within your customers’ environment.
  • Drive opportunities to close.

As a Services Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Develop and manage internal sales relationships, being a key point of contact for Services solution opportunities with the end customer.
  • Promote Professional, Cloud Consulting, Incident Response, FortiGuard services, and advanced support service Sales.
  • Build and implement account/marketing plans for account penetration.
  • Generate a sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline.
  • Achieve agreed quarterly sales goals.
  • Work effectively with ecosystem partners and enable partners on our offerings.
  • Communicate effectively, making engaging and effective presentations to an executive audience.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Regional Systems Engineers, ensuring customers understand how to deliver value to their customers and partners.
  • Establish yourself as a Services trusted advisor to prospects and customers.
  • Deliver outstanding service and problem resolution to Fortinet customers.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified, experienced sales professional with an expert understanding of the IT/CyberSecurity Services business sector.
  • Exceptional business and financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to understand both short-term and long-term financial impacts of business decisions.
  • Previous experience designing business plans and market strategies.
  • Proven ability with solution selling and a hunter mentality.
  • A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
  • A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle.
  • Competitive, self-starter, hunter-type mentality.
  • Previous experience with selling service and IT project solutions through channel partners.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills to evaluate complex problems and find systematic approaches for quick resolutions.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction; travel will be required in the territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience; Graduate Degree favorable.
  • Proficiency in English required; Spanish and French is a plus.
