[Hiring] Senior Sales Account Executive @OEC Group
Mar 17, 2025 - OEC Group is hiring a remote Senior Sales Account Executive. 💸 Salary: $80,000-$100,000 annually plus commission. 📍Location: USA.
Role Description
This position involves outside sales with a hybrid work model, focusing on freight forwarding business development.
- Generate new business through cold calling, averaging 40 calls per day.
- Build and maintain a customer base by recognizing freight forwarding business opportunities.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to become well educated in all OEC products and services.
- Offer solutions through OEC Group's services including ocean, air, warehousing & distribution, LTL & FTL transportation, cargo insurance, and customs brokerage.
- Achieve monthly sales quotas set by the sales management team.
- Utilize Sugar (CRM) to track client's key information, build and maintain sales pipeline, and measure KPIs.
- Work closely with the sales support team by reviewing quotes to ensure the client's needs are met.
- Meet with current and potential clients within assigned territory.
- Maintain consistent communication with other departments and overseas offices.
- Monitor international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of freight forwarding business development/outside sales experience.
- Possesses a book of business in international ocean, air, and/or customs brokerage.
- Demonstrated hunter mentality to continuously bring in new business opportunities.
- Reliable transportation at the time of hire.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Transportation, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.
