Role Description

Verizon Business Group is revolutionizing how we engage with our Small Business customers virtually. As a Strategic Outbound Senior Inside Sales Representative, you will spend the majority of your time executing marketing campaign leads and handling outbound calls.

You’ll be part of our Virtual to Business (V2B) team proactively and reactively assisting our client base and providing our customers with a best-in-class experience with your service and support. The client experience will be in your hands as you interact with new and existing customers to drive revenue and business success while ensuring first-class service.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Handling strategic outbound calls through our phone dialer that focuses on various critical marketing campaigns.
  • Meeting/exceeding quota targets and standards of performance.
  • Driving multiple key performance indicators.
  • Owning and managing the sales cycle from beginning to end.
  • Building and maintaining a sales funnel to ensure the completion of opportunities.
  • Resolving customers’ concerns and recommending solutions.
  • Creating new business profiles when discovering new logo opportunities.
  • Working actively in B360, SFDC, WorkHub, and our Inside Sales IVR technologies.
  • Partnering with the marketing, operations, finance, and field sales teams to drive success with the current base of customers and new logo business.
  • Identifying, developing and qualifying leads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns and modern social selling techniques.
  • Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retaining, managing and growing the existing customer base.
  • Coordinating with support partners to educate and excite customers about how they can leverage innovative business solutions.
  • Proactively establishing, building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers.
  • Effectively presenting and creating multi product solution opportunities.
  • Confidently demonstrating a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and groundbreaking integrated software solutions.
  • Tracking and reporting progress through the consistent use of a variety of sales force automation tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
  • Leadership, B2B, R2B, or Inside Sales experience.

Requirements

  • Work in a structured virtual call center environment with scheduled breaks and lunchtime.
  • Sell with urgency and possess a strong closer mentality.
  • Responsible for dispositioning marketing campaign records properly and accurately.
  • Work with various tools, software programs, partners, and leads simultaneously.
  • Manage and present in virtual meetings with clients, sales managers, vendors, and Solutions Architects.
  • Build and manage a sales funnel in addition to forecasting incremental growth.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach with multi-solution selling experience.
  • Conduct thorough discovery and qualification for business solutions in every client interaction.
  • Meet performance metrics goals, funnel expectations, and call efficiencies.
  • Ongoing coaching and development through frequent conversations and creating plans to achieve goals.
  • Stay engaged hourly in slack groups, with peers, supervisor, and district.
  • Be accountable and show up as a leader.
